WELCOME FRIENDS OF THE COMMITTEE
Committees are limited by TRB to 25 members including the chairman. The only exception to this is that a committee may include as many as four non-North American members above the 25 member limit. To assure that the committee is open and affords an opportunity to those who are excluded by the membership limit an ability to participate, we maintain a "Friends of the Committee" group. "Friends" are welcomed to attend committee meetings, participate in our activities, serve as subcommittee members, offer and review papers and in any other ways demonstrate their willingness to contribute to the committee. If you are interested in being added to our ever-growing list of "Friends" contact our secretary by voice or by email.
