MEETINGS; FIRST MEETING ON THE CONSENSUS ACTION PLAN |

As you are probably aware,
our informal group has met on several occasions to discuss the Sheridan
Expressway Analysis recently completed by New York State DOT and to
resolve conflicts and explore possible consensus actions for addressing
community and agency concerns related to the Sheridan Expressway. The Consensus Action Plan is a result of those discussions. The
Plan lays out a number of action steps to resolve issues in key problem
areas. It will serve as a basis for our future meetings over the next
several months.
The first meeting to begin
implementation of the Consensus Action Plan is scheduled for
Tuesday,April 3, 2001 at 10 a.m. The meeting will be held at Youth
Ministries for Peace and Justice. Note that this is a new location
for our meetings!! An agenda for the meeting is
below, which
addresses items A-6 and B-1 in the Plan.

forward and work toward possible consensus between agencies and
